1.  As a guarantee company, what are the programs being offered by QUEDANCOR to prospective clients and beneficiaries?

Presently, QUEDANCOR is implementing the QUEDANCOR-AGRICULTURAL CREDIT GUARANTEE FOR RURAL PRODUCTIVITY- AGRI-FISHERY AND LIVELIHOOD PROJECTS (AGRICORP-AFLIP). It is a guarantee financing program that supports on the marketing of various agriculture and fisheries commodities by extending credit guarantee assistance to farmers, fisherfolk and entrepreneurs while enticing the participation of banks and related lending entities to extend loans to the agri-fishery sector in order to stimulate the development of both the product and its retailer.


2.   Where can I go to avail of QUEDANCOR’s services and products?

Farmers, fisherfolk, entrepreneurs and other individuals who may want to avail of the credit and guarantee services of QUEDANCOR may go to the nearest QUEDANCOR Regional and District Offices in their area (please refer to corporate directory). For those residing in Metro Manila and in the National Capital Region, they may proceed to the QUEDANCOR Center, No. 34 Panay Avenue, Quezon City.

At present, the Corporation has 14 Regional Offices, 49 District Offices and 6 Extension Offices located in strategic locations covering all territorial regions of the Philippines.


3.  What are the basic requirements necessary in applying for any of QUEDANCOR’s credit and guarantee programs?

The required documents vary from per program, but among the basic requirements include permit from the Barangay and Municipal (Mayor) level, registration from the Department of Trade and Industry, license from the National food Authority if engaged in grains trading.

Clients also need to get a clearance from QUEDANCOR notifying that they do not have any past due loan accounts with the Corporation.


4.  What are the various commodities being financed and guaranteed by QUEDANCOR’s agri-credit guarantee programs?

Among the items and commodities being financed by the QUEDANCOR Agri-Credit Guarantee Programs include but not limited to palay, corngrains, rice, corngrits, cotton, ramie and degummed, abaca, coconut , tobacco, livestock and poultry, fisheries and aquatic products, beans, seeds and nuts, fruits and vegetables, feed ingredients and spices and condiments.


5.  What is the loanable amount for clients who are eligible to avail of QUEDANCOR’s agri-credit guarantee programs?

For the QUEDANCOR AFLIP-FARE program, the initial loanable amount is P25,000.00 for non-collateralized loans. The borrower may be able to avail of a higher amount after at least two availments with a good repayment record.
  
Loanable amount under the other programs vary depending on the capital requirement of the projects and the borrower’s capacity to pay which will be determined during the evaluation of loan application.
